As a rescue group we depend on our volunteers to foster, review adoptions, fundraising, showing animals, answering phones, transportation and many other duties. Preferred Volunteering Roles

Foster Parent:	Yes No More Information
Foster parents provide temporary shelter and loving care for homeless animals awaiting adoption.
Adoption Counselor:	Yes No More Information
We provide training for adoption counselors.
Volunteers less than 18 years of age may assist adoption counselors. Training is provided.
Fund Raising:	Yes No More Information
Assist with various fund raising activities.
Public Relations:	Yes No More Information
Place ads in various papers, post pictures on Web and at various locations of our dogs and cats. Work on various projects promoting Haven for Pets
Transportation:	Yes No More Information
Transport animals to vet offices or to fosters homes.
Pet Care:	Yes No More Information
Help foster families with pet care, including feeding, clean up and socializing.
Phones:	Yes No More Information
Retrieve HFP phone messages, return calls when need be and to give out adoption infomation. Or to contact the appropriate individual so that they can return the call.
Other Contributions:
Contribute your special talents, such as photography, writing, artwork, bookkeeping, computer skills, etc.

Waiver

I indemnify, defend and hold harmless volunteers, trutees and/or agents of Haven for Pets from and against all claims, losses, liabilities and damages to persons or property, government charges, fines and/or attorney fees arising out of the act of or omissions by myself or by the acts of animals of HFP. HFP ASSUMES NO LEGAL LIABILITY FOR MY OR THE ANIMALS ACTIONS.
